General Information
Great Lakes Soccer League (GLSL) is the recreational outdoor soccer league for U9 and above boys and girls and consists of two seasons – Fall and Spring.
Fall Season starts after Labor Day weekend and goes through October. Registration for this league is June (June 1 – July 1).
Spring Season starts mid-April and goes until mid-June. Registration for this league is January (January 1 – February 1).
Fall 2012 Pricing
$145.00
Spring 2013 Pricing
Continuing Player - $115
New Player (didn't play previous Fall) - $145
In the fall each player receives a new uniform. If they continue into the spring season (continuing player) they do not get another uniform so their price is lower than a "new" player.
Note* All games must be completed by the third weekend in June per MSYSA rules (the third weekend is the start date for Select and Premier tryouts throughout the
state).

Practices
Practices are coordinated by the coaches and are completely dependent upon their availability. Typically coaches will practice once a week (Mon-Thurs) at or after 5pm. We are unable to assign players to teams based on personal conflicts. Teams and coaches are formed after registration and the coach will pick the practice times based on his/her availability and field availability.
HS Teams
During the High School soccer season (Girls–Spring and Boys-Fall), U15+ teams play a 6v6 format on an 8v8 field and are allowed to use up to three guest players. During the off-season from HS soccer, the teams go back to 11v11 format. These teams do have different registration guidelines and dates, PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.
GLSL Uniforms
Each player receives one uniform kit (jersey, shorts and socks) each year in the fall. If the player “continues” to the spring season, he/she will wear the same uniform which is the reason for the discounted registration price in the spring. If your player did not play in the fall, but wishes to play in the spring – you must register as a “new” player. “New” player fees include the uniform as well as league fees. If your child is receiving a uniform, the club will distribute them to your coach. Coaches will receive their team uniforms and will pass them out during their pre-season practices. If you have an issue with your uniform, please contact Bill Joker.
