Canton Celtic has three teams representing the club in the State Cup Quater-Finals in Saginaw this weekend:

U14G Black vs Hawks at 3pm on 10/3

U16G Black defeated Michigan Gators in the quarters and will face Vardar in the Semi's at 10am on 10/4.  The game was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation.  The Gators scored two goals in the first overtime, but the Celtic girls didn't give up.  They came back with two goals in the last seven minutes of the second overtime to put the game into a penalty kick shootout.  The game ended on the 11th kicker with the goalkeeper, "Wipe-Out," putting it in the back of the net.

U18G Celtic/Rush girls lost to the Hawks in the quarters by a score of 2-0.  Congratulations ladies on an excellent season.
