Game Changes - Saturday, September 10, 2011

We have had a few changes that have been made (or will be made) to our game schedule. Please see the link below to take you to the official GLSL schedule for Team Thunder.

- Changes include:
1. Additional Game added for 10/22
2. The game scheduled for Thursday 9/22 will be rescheduled due to schedule conflicts for the other team. The new date is Tuesday October 11th in Dearborn at Crowley - 6pm. PLEASE NOTE: you may not see this rescheduled game on the schedule below because we have taken care of it internally rather than through the club itself.

I will always keep our page updated with the latest information and send out an email to let you know that something has changed.

Practices and Games in Canton are dependent on the field status listed on the Canton Soccer Club Website. If the field status is X for CLOSED, then the game or practice is cancelled. I will also send anemail. For games outside of Canton, I will send out an email if cancelled.

PRACTICE:
1. All Practices will be at Heritage Field 3B from 6:30 - 8PM on Thursdays.
2. Bring a Water Bottle and a Size 4 Ball

There will be additional practices held on the following Tuesdays from 6:30 - 7:30PM at Hoben Elementary (Saltz between Sheldon and Canton Center): 9/6, 9/20, and 9/27.

GAMES:
1. Home games and Away games against another Canton team will be at various Canton fields. Away games will be at our competitor’s site. See the maps on the GLSL website.
2. Arrive no later than 15 min prior to the game.
3. If you are going to absent please let me know ahead of time.
4. Please continue to stress that FUN and IMPROVEMENT are the main goals…it’s not just about winning.

PICTURES:
They will be held on 9/17 at Freedom Park. Please arrive at 11:20am for 11:36 pictures. If you cannot make it, please let me know ahead of time so we are not delaying the shoot waiting for you!

TRAINING:
1. 2-day Goalkeeper Training is offered on 9/12 and 10/3 at Independence Park from 6-7pm. This is optional, please see me if you are interested so I know who is going, then you will need to register online (PROGRAMS/GOALKEEPER TRAINING/REC GK TRAINING).

Parent Participation:
1. Please refrain from COACHING from the sidelines, cheering is always encouraged! Note that we are open to suggestions after the games.
2. Every referee is someone’s child or parent; please treat them with the respect that you expect your child/parent to receive.
